Techrethought is an SEO and digital marketing company in Chennai. We fix what stops search engines reading your site, build out your Google Business Profile, write pages that answer what customers ask, and make your business easy for AI assistants to describe. Paid ads and social media, the rest of our digital marketing, have their own pages.
Work on your website, your Google listing, your content and how AI assistants see you, with tracking and a report that ties it together. What each month covers is written into the plan, so you can see what you are paying for.
Clients we have done marketing work for, each shown with everything we did for them. Their sites are live, so you can look at each business for yourself.

Before any work starts, we agree what search has to do for the business, which searches and areas matter, where you stand today, what will be measured and what is outside anyone's control. The monthly work follows from that plan.
What counts as a result
The action you want from search: calls, enquiry forms, WhatsApp messages, visits or orders. We agree how each one is tracked, so reports count enquiries and not only visitors.
The searches and areas that matter
The services, products and questions your customers search for, and where they are. A clinic serving one part of the city needs a different plan from a firm with clients across India.
Where you stand today
What the audit found, how your pages and Business Profile appear now, and who shows up for the searches you want. Every later report is compared against this starting point.
Who changes what
Which fixes we make ourselves, which need your developer or hosting provider, and who writes, reviews and approves new content. The access we need to your site and Google accounts is agreed up front.
What nobody controls
Search engines change how they rank pages, competitors keep working, and AI assistants choose their own sources. We say plainly what we can influence and what we cannot, before you commit.
Reporting and review
What the monthly report covers, when we go through it with you, and when the plan itself is revisited.
SEO is ongoing work, not a one-off fix. After the audit and the first round of fixes, each month follows the same cycle: do the agreed work, measure it, report it, and decide what comes next.
We check the site, the Business Profile and the search data you already have, and record where things stand, so progress is measured against a fixed starting point.
A written plan: the searches and pages to work on, what gets fixed first, how results are measured, and what the monthly fee covers.
Technical problems, page titles, structure and the Business Profile are put right before new content is written, because new pages on a site search engines struggle to read achieve little.
New and improved pages, answers to customer questions, Business Profile posts and directory listings, each reviewed by you before it goes live.
Search impressions, clicks and positions for the agreed searches, Business Profile calls and direction requests, and enquiries from the site, read together rather than as a single number.
A plain report each month on what was done, what changed and what we think caused it. The next month's work is adjusted to what the data shows.
We make changes directly in WordPress and Shopify, and in the code of custom-built sites. Search results are read from Google's own data for your site, so you can check every figure in a report yourself.
Site platforms
Code
It depends on how much work the site needs and how much is done each month. A site with technical problems, many pages or several locations needs more than a small, sound site serving one area, and the searches you compete for matter too. We quote a monthly fee after the audit, against a written list of what that fee covers.
Make your business easy for them to read and to check. Assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini that search the web rely on pages they can read as plain text, on structured data, and on what directories, reviews and other sites say about you. We work on all of these, including an llms.txt file and Markdown copies of key pages, as this site has. No one controls which sources an assistant cites, so we do not promise citations.
Local SEO is the work that helps a business appear when people nearby search for what it offers, in the map results and in ordinary results that name an area. It rests on a complete Google Business Profile, the same name, address and phone number everywhere online, genuine reviews, and pages about the places you serve. For a shop, clinic or office in Chennai, it is usually where SEO starts.
Give Google a site it can read easily and pages that answer each search better than the alternatives, then earn mentions from other sites. In practice that means fixing technical problems, giving each search its own clear page, writing content that is genuinely useful and keeping your Business Profile active. Nobody outside Google controls rankings, so treat any promise of a position or a date with suspicion.
Google says local results depend on relevance, distance and prominence: how well your profile matches the search, how close you are to the person searching, and how well known and reviewed the business is. You cannot move your office, but you can complete every field of your Business Profile, choose accurate categories, add services and photos, post updates, and ask customers for reviews. Replying to reviews helps too, because it shows the business is active.
For most, yes, especially local businesses whose customers search before they call. AI answers have changed how some results look, but they still draw on websites, and a site that search engines read easily is also easier for AI assistants to describe. Whether it is worth it for you depends on how people find businesses like yours, which the audit helps answer.
It depends on where the site starts, how competitive the searches are and how much work goes in each month. Technical fixes and a completed Business Profile tend to show up in search data first, while new content and reputation build more slowly. We do not promise a date; the monthly report shows what is moving, so you can judge progress for yourself.
They do different jobs. Google Ads puts you at the top of the results straight away and stops when the spending stops, while SEO builds visibility that keeps working but takes longer to earn. Many businesses run ads for the searches that matter now while SEO builds, and our Google & Meta Ads service covers the paid side.
Send us your website and the searches you want to be found for. We will ask what we need to know, then propose a plan and a monthly fee.
