AI Automation Company in Chennai
Techrethought is an AI automation company in Chennai. We build assistants that answer questions from your own documents and data, automate the routine steps between the tools you already use, and pull details out of forms, invoices and emails. Each one is tested on your real cases, and a person stays in charge wherever a mistake would matter.
What can Techrethought automate with AI?
Routine work that follows a pattern: answering repeat questions, moving information between the tools you already use, and reading or drafting documents. Each piece is built for one task, tested on your examples and handed over with a way to check what it did.
- Assistants that answer from your content
- A chatbot on your website, or an assistant for your staff, that answers from your own documents, price lists and policies, shows where each answer came from, and hands over to a person when the answer is not there.
- Workflow automation between your tools
- Routine steps done for you: an enquiry from your website logged in your records, the right person told, a follow-up reminder set and a weekly summary sent. Many of these steps need no AI at all.
- Document and data handling
- Details pulled from invoices, purchase orders, forms and emails into your spreadsheet or accounts, with anything unclear set aside for a person to check instead of guessed.
- Sorting and first drafts
- Incoming emails and enquiries sorted by topic and urgency, with replies drafted for a person to review, edit and send.
- Connections to your systems
- Links to the email, office suite, accounting software, forms or database you already run, through their official connections, with small pieces of custom code where no ready connection exists.
- A review screen and a log
- A place to see what the automation did, correct it and approve anything waiting, with a record of every run and an alert when something fails.
- Handover in your name
- Every account and connection set up in your name, with a plain note of what each piece does, what it costs to run and how to switch it off.
How does Techrethought decide what to automate?
We start from one task and real examples of it, not from the technology. Before anything is built, we agree what the task is, whether AI is needed at all, what a mistake would cost, where your data goes and how we will judge whether it works.
One task, step by step
A repetitive task done often enough to matter, written down as your team actually does it, with real past examples, the awkward ones included.
Rules or AI
Steps that follow fixed rules are automated with plain logic, which costs less and behaves the same way every time. AI is used only where the input is language that varies, such as emails, documents or questions.
What a mistake would cost
Where an error would reach a customer, money or a legal record, a person reviews it before anything goes out. Low-risk steps can run on their own.
Where your data goes
Which services see your information, what is stored and for how long, and what must never leave your own systems, such as personal or financial details.
How we judge that it works
A set of real examples with the right answers, agreed with you, that the automation is tested against before it goes live and again after any change.
Running costs
An estimate of what it will cost each month to run, since AI services charge by use, agreed before the build so the time saved can be weighed against it.
Where AI is the wrong tool
Decisions that need judgement or accountability, tasks done only a few times a month, and anything that must be exactly right with no one checking. Sometimes a better form or a simple rule is the answer, and we say so.
How does an automation project run?
Small and tested first. We try the idea on your past examples, run it alongside your team before it acts on its own, and keep checking it after launch. Dates for each stage are agreed before work starts.
Walk through the task
Your team shows us how the task is done today, step by step, and shares real examples, with sensitive details removed wherever possible.
Trial on past examples
A small trial on those examples to see whether the task can be automated well enough. If it cannot, you hear it at this point, before paying for a build.
Build the flow
The connections, instructions and rules built on test accounts, with review points placed wherever a person must approve before anything happens.
Run alongside your team
The automation runs next to the current way of working: it drafts or proposes, your team decides, and its results are compared with the agreed examples.
Switch on
Once it meets the agreed standard, it takes over the steps it is trusted with, with alerts if something fails and a person still reviewing what matters.
Review and adjust
Logs are read and instructions tuned as new kinds of cases appear. AI services change over time, so the agreed examples are run again after every change.
Which tools do we build automations with?
Python and JavaScript for the automations, SQL databases for the records they keep, and connections to the office tools you already run, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. The AI model is chosen per project, for the task, the cost and where your data may go.

Questions about AI automation
How much does an AI chatbot cost in India?
It depends on where it answers, such as your website or email, how much of your material it must answer from, which systems it has to look things up in, and whether it hands over to a person. There are two costs: building it, and running it, because AI services charge by use. We quote both after a short call, once the task and the volume are clear.
Can I automate WhatsApp messages for my business?
Yes, within WhatsApp's rules. The WhatsApp Business app can send simple greeting and away messages by itself; anything more, such as order updates or replies drawn from your records, runs through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, directly or through an approved provider. Messages that open a conversation must use templates Meta has approved and go only to people who agreed to receive them, and tools that drive an ordinary account through WhatsApp Web break the rules and can get the number banned.
What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is an assistant that can act as well as answer: look something up, fill in a record, send a draft or call another system, choosing its next step from what it finds. That freedom is useful for narrow tasks with clear limits and risky for open-ended ones. We give an agent only the access its task needs, and a person approves any action that is hard to undo.
How can AI help a small business?
Mostly by taking over repetitive reading and writing: answering the same customer questions, sorting enquiries, pulling details out of invoices and forms, and drafting replies or summaries for someone to check. It is not good at decisions that need judgement, at work that must be exactly right with nobody checking, or at tasks done only now and then. The useful place to start is one task that takes up time every week.
How do I automate my business processes?
Start with one process, not all of them. Write down each step as it is actually done, mark which steps follow fixed rules and which need someone's judgement, and note how often it runs. Automate the rule-based steps first, keep a person on the judgement calls, and check the results against real cases before trusting it with more.
What is the difference between RPA and AI automation?
RPA follows fixed rules, working through screens and forms the way a person would, so it suits structured tasks whose inputs never change. AI automation handles language that varies, such as emails, documents and questions, by reading, sorting or drafting. Most useful systems combine the two: fixed rules for the steps that never change, AI only where language has to be understood, and a person for judgement.
Is my business data safe with AI?
It can be, if you decide up front what goes where. Text sent to an AI service is processed by that provider, so we check its business terms on storage and training, keep personal and financial details out wherever the task allows, and give each automation only the access it needs. Accounts are set up in your name, so you can see and withdraw that access at any time.
Can AI answer customer calls and enquiries?
It can answer written enquiries well when the questions repeat and the answers are in your own material, such as timings, services, booking steps or order status. It should hand over to a person when a question is unusual, a customer is upset, or money, health or a complaint is involved. Phone calls are harder than chat, because callers interrupt, switch languages and expect instant replies, so any voice assistant needs testing on real calls before you rely on it.
