Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace for Business in Chennai

Techrethought helps businesses in Chennai choose, buy and set up the software they run on: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for email and documents, security and antivirus, accounting and business apps, and creative tools. The licences come from the software makers; we pick the right plans, supply them, set them up and keep track of renewals.

What do you get when you buy software through Techrethought?

The licences your team needs, bought in your company's name, set up and working on every device, and tracked so renewals do not catch you out. The software is the maker's product; choosing, setting up and looking after it is our part.

How does Techrethought decide what you need?

Before anything is bought, we list who needs what, what you already pay for and what has to move across. You get a written recommendation with the plans and licence counts, and the quote follows from it.

  • Who needs what

Each person or role and what they actually use: email only, documents and video calls, the desktop apps, accounting, or design and other specialist tools. Not everyone needs the most expensive plan.

  • What you already pay for

Licences, subscriptions, domains and renewal dates already in place, including anything staff bought on personal cards or accounts, so nothing is paid for twice or lost when someone leaves.

  • Which suite fits

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, chosen on how your team works, the files your clients send, the apps you already depend on and the devices you use.

  • What has to move

Existing email, contacts, calendars and files, where they are held today and how much there is, so the switch is planned around them.

  • Who owns the accounts

Licences and admin accounts registered to your company, with your own people holding the main admin login, so the software stays yours whoever looks after it.

  • Billing and renewal terms

Monthly or yearly terms, how billing works and when each licence renews, set out in writing before you commit.

How does buying and setting up software work?

A short review, a written recommendation, then purchase, setup and migration, with renewals tracked afterwards. Nothing is bought until you approve the recommendation and the quote.

  1. Review

A short call about your team, the software you use now and what is due for renewal, and a look at your current accounts if you give us access.

  2. Recommendation and quote

Which suite and plans, how many licences, which security and business software, and the setup work, written down with a quote you approve before anything is bought.

  3. Purchase

Licences bought in your company's name on the terms you chose, with the licence details recorded and passed to you.

  4. Setup

Domain connected, users and mailboxes created, security settings switched on, and the software installed and signed in on each device.

  5. Migration

Old email, contacts, calendars and files moved across, timed around your working hours so the switch does not stop work.

  6. Handover and renewals

Your team shown how to sign in and find things, admin access handed to you, and every renewal date recorded so each licence is renewed or changed before it lapses.

Which business software do we work with?

Questions about Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and licences

Which business email is right for a small business?

For almost every small business: email on your own domain, run on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. It looks credible to customers, keeps mail under the company's control when staff leave, and comes with calendars, documents and video calls. Free addresses and the basic mailboxes bundled with web hosting cost less, but they are easier to lose, harder to secure and come without those tools.

How much does Microsoft 365 Business cost in India?

Microsoft prices its business plans per user, billed monthly or yearly, and the price depends on the plan: plans with web and mobile apps only cost less than plans with the desktop apps or added security. Microsoft sets and changes the prices, so figures found online are often out of date. We quote for the exact plans and number of users you need, with any setup or migration work shown separately.

How much does Google Workspace cost in India?

Google Workspace is also priced per user, monthly or yearly, and its plans differ mainly in storage, meeting features and security controls. Google sets the prices and changes them from time to time, so we quote at the time you buy, for the plan and number of users you need. Setup and email migration are quoted as separate work.

Is Microsoft 365 a one-time purchase or a subscription?

Microsoft 365 is a subscription: you pay per user, monthly or yearly, and email, storage and the apps keep working only while it is paid. Microsoft still sells one-time versions of its desktop apps for single computers, but they come without business email or cloud storage, and their support ends on a fixed date. For a business, the subscription is usually the sensible choice.

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace: which is better for my business?

Neither is better for everyone. Microsoft 365 suits teams that work in desktop documents and spreadsheets, or exchange them with clients who do; Google Workspace suits teams that work in the browser and edit documents together. Both handle business email well, so we recommend one from how your team works and what your clients send you.

Which antivirus is right for business computers?

Choose a business edition rather than a home one: business editions are managed from one console, so someone can see that every device is protected, updated and not raising alerts. Look for protection against ransomware and harmful links, licences that match your device count, and cover for every system you run, including phones that hold work email. We recommend specific products during planning, based on your devices and budget.

Is the antivirus built into Windows enough for a business?

For a single home computer it often is. A business usually needs more: one place to see that every device is protected and up to date, alerts that someone acts on, and cover for phones and Macs. Some Microsoft 365 business plans include Microsoft's business-grade device protection, which can be the simplest answer if you already use them.

How do I move my email to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Set up the new accounts first, copy the existing mail, contacts and calendars across, then switch your domain's mail records so new mail arrives in the new system, and copy anything that arrived during the switch. Done in that order, staff can keep working throughout. We plan and do the move as part of setup, including mail held in old hosting accounts.
